Born in Newark, New Jersey (March 6, 1972), DJ Diesel is the stage name of Shaquille O’Neal. He produces bass-heavy electronic music—dubstep, trap, drum & bass—and became known for tracks like “Bang Your Head,” “Heat,” and “No Fear.” His latest release is the 2025 EP “M.D.E.” Achievements include a platinum rap album (“Shaq Diesel,” 1993) and major festival performances such as Lost Lands and Lollapalooza. He’s collaborated with Hairitage, Crankdat, Virtual Riot and others.
